The Saft LS-W cylindrical primary lithium cells are based on Lithium-Thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl2) chemistry. Their key features are the concentric electrode (‘bobbin’)construction that enables maximum loading of active materials and a specific electrolyte. The LS-W cells are designed specifically for electronic toll collection applications often characterized by widely fluctuating temperatures over short periods of time.
